Move It Now (North Central Virginia) is celebrating its 1 year anniversary

As I reflect back on our first year in business, I realize that we have so many people to thank. Firstly, I would like to thank all of our customers who put their trust in us to move their belongings. Because, let's face it, without our customers, we are nothing.

Secondly, I would like to thank the individual who played the biggest role in why we decided to purchase a "Move It Now" Franchise. That person is Robin Smith with The Entrepreneur's Source here in Richmond, VA. I don't know how we would have gotten through the entire process without her knowledge and expertise. I could do an entire blog on how she helped us, but I will save that for another day.

I also have to thank the members of my Deep Run BNI Group (Business Networking International). They have been an invaluable resource for us and haved helped us make it through our first year. They are a group of like-minded small business owners who have been through the anguish of their first year in business, and who have become very successful business owners in the Richmond area.

My Entire BNI group is outstanding, however, I have to give a huge thank you to one very SPECIAL person who has been my "rock" during this difficult first year. Her name is Lisa Ritchie. Lisa owns Capital City Supercoups in Midlothian, VA. She is always willing to help where she can, or to simply listen.

Me, being shy in nature, always found it difficult to approach people I didn't know well. I asked Lisa one day, "How in the world did you became so outgoing and how do you approach people you don't know?" Her response to me was "FAKE IT TIL YOU MAKE IT, eventually, you yourself, will believe." Thank you Lisa!

Again, thank you to everyone who has played such an important role in making our first year a success. We look forward to serving the moving needs of Richmond, Virginia for a long time to come!
